Margaret Christine "Maggie" Gresham was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Brian and Julie Gresham. She's the third girl and fifth child of the family, with two older brothers, Jake and Charlie, two older sisters, Julie and April, and younger sister, Rose. While her father is a high school principal, her mom teaches piano and voice from a home studio. Growing up, Maggie spent a great deal of her time putting on plays or dancing and singing performances for anyone who would watch, and often including her dear friend Nick Matheson in the shows.

Maggie was a year older than Nick, but the pair formed a near inseparable bond from day one, as their parents were good friends, and spent a great deal of time together. While Nick was always more into visual art than performing arts, he still got involved in Maggie's theatrical endeavors, and they always had a blast together.

When Maggie was in 8th grade, Nick in 7th, the pair "dated" for a while, though it was more one of those childhood relationships that doesn't change anything from being friends, except the occasional sneaky, nervous kiss along the way. Nothing came of it, but they remained good friends and while his parents had planned to send him to boarding school in Ohio, Nick asked to stay, not wanting to leave Florida or his best friend behind.

The pair dated through high school and were each others first in almost every way, but eventually, things would change when Nick made the choice to go away to Italy for school, always loving the country where half of his heritage and a lot of his relatives were from. It was there that Nick realized he was gay, and Maggie was one of the first to know. She often teases him to this day about being his gay fail before he even knew it was a gay fail, and they remain extremely good friends.

While Nick was studying in Italy, Maggie was in New York, attempting to score a role on Broadway, which finally happened when she landed the lead in a musical theater version of Disney's version of Cinderella, where she met and fell very hard for her very own Prince Charming, Scott Morgan. She's loving life now more than ever, because Nick and all of her siblings have since made the move to New York, and she couldn't be happier to have them all close again.
